TRURO – Truro Bearcats forward Mitchell Robillard is getting recognition for an outstanding week.

Robillard, a 20-year-old St. Eustache Que., native, has been named the Maritime Junior Hockey League’s second star of the week. The six-foot-two, 189-pound forward recorded seven points (3G, 4A) in three games to help the Bearcats win twice last week.

Robillard collected three assists in a 7-1 thrashing of the Bridgewater Lumberjacks Saturday after scoring a goal and adding an assist in a 5-2 win over the Yarmouth Mariners. Robillard also scored twice in Thursday’s 5-4 loss to the Pictou County Crushers.
