Michael Adams led off the game with a punt that cleared the end zone for a single point, breifly giving the Bombers an early lead. The Argos responded with an offensive TD and 2pt convert through the Uprights to retake the lead 8-1.
The Bombers countered with a touch down of their own, on a 3 yard run by Cameron Matheson. Truro's single convert was good, and brought the game to 8-8 tie.
The Argos came prepared to play, re-answering just before the half, entering the locker room up 14-8. The Bombers marched down the field and struck pay dirt just three minutes into the third quarter on a very tough 2 yard run by Will Sillyboy. The Convert by Adams was good for a 16-14 Bomber lead. Late in the fourth quarter the Bombers forced a huge turnover and were able to score the go ahead touchdown shortly after the recovery.
The extra point failed but gave them a 22-14 lead. The Argos would not go quietly, scoring the tying TD and convert with 1:40 on the clock. With the Game tied at 22, the Bombers got one last shot at scoring. and with 5 seconds to Go Adams booted a punt that rolled deep in the Halifax end zone But the Argo return man, managed to elude tacklers and cleared the end zone.
Michael Adams, Cameron Matheson, and Will Sillyboy were the outstanding offensive performers. On the Defense Jordan Waller led the team in tackles for a loss, including three key sacks on successive plays in the fourth Quarter. Tyree Desmond picked off two passes on the night.
