Inglis Jewellers Bearcats miss out on provincial hockey title

TRURO – The Truro Inglis Jewellers Bearcats came up short in their recent bid for a provincial atom AA hockey title.

The Bearcats posted a 1-3 record at the championship tournament although forward Sam Stoddard was named to the provincial all-star squad and Braden Gray took home the most sportsmanlike award and the fastest skater honour in the tournament skills competition.

Gray scored twice at the event while other goals came from Dawson Gilbert, Joesph Fagioli, Keegan Macumber, Sam Archibald, Morgan Macphee and Mackenize Archibald.
