SUMMERSIDE: Truro’s Colleen Pinkney continued her winning streak Wednesday night, defeating Saskatchewan’s Cathy Inglis with an extra end 9-7 victory at the 2013 Canadian Senior Women’s Curling Championship.

Pinkney was down 3-2 at the fifth-end break, but scored a deuce to take the lead in the sixth. She is now 8-0, and only one win away from guaranteeing herself a playoff spot.

The championship game is set for Sunday after the round-robin games conclude tomorrow. The winner will represent Canada at the 2014 World Senior Women's Curling Championship.

Other Truro team members include mate Wendy Currie, second Shelley MacNutt and lead Susan Creelman.
