Junior B Elks rally in third to defeat Blazers

SACKVILLE – The Brookfield Elks scored four unanswered goals in the third period to earn a 5-3 victory over the Sackville Blazers in Game 3 of the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League Fred Fox Division final on Monday.

Brookfield takes a 2-1 series lead into Game 4 on Thursday at the Don Henderson Memorial Sportsplex.

Liam Carr, Travis Nevin, Zach Bates, James Shapleigh and Cole Baker, on a power play, scored for the Elks.

Shayne Oderkirk, Andrew Stewart and Adam Brown, on a power play, replied for the Blazers.

Sackville outshot Brookfield 44-38. Specner Scott picked up the win in nets.
