Game 1 of the best-of-seven Maritime Junior Hockey League Eastlink Division semifinal will be played at the Community Credit Union Arena at 7 p.m. Game 2 will be at the Wellness Centre in New Glasgow Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.
The Crushers advanced with a 7-1 win oevr the Bridgewater CIBC Wood Gundy Lumberjacks last night to claim the best-of-three mini-series 2-0. Attendance was 1,003.
In other news, two members of the Bearcats – netminder Shayne Campbell and left winger Kyle Morrison – were selected to the first all-star team.
Other selections were Yarmouth Mariners defencemen Josh Desmond and Rodney Mahoney, Summerside Capitals centre Danny Chiasson and Dieppe Commandos right winger Zach Cahill.
