TRURO – Reagan Mills is once again atop the heap among biathletes in Nova Scotia.
The 16-year-old Bible Hill resident recently claimed the Howell Cup for the second consecutive year as the province’s top senior male biathlete at the provincial championships at Ski Martock.
Mills earned a gold medal, two silver and a bronze at the event and posted a top-10 finish at the North American Cup earlier this season in Valcartier, Que. He also recorded a win and a runner-up finish at the Eastern Canadian Championships in Charlo, N.B.
Mills continues his season later this month at the United States Biathlon Championships in Fort Kent, Maine.
Brennan Beal, also an Onslow resident, earned a silver and bronze medal in the senior boys division at provincials while Onslow’s Noah Patriquin earned a pair of silver and a bronze medal in the junior boys category.
