PhysioOne Bearcats go winless at provincial atom AAA hockey playdowns

TRURO – The Truro PhysioOne Bearcats fell short of earning a berth at atom AAA hockey provincials at a recent qualifying tournament.

The Bearcats went winless with an 0-3-1 record at the event. Only the top two teams moved on to provincials March 14 to 17 in Bedford.

The Bearcats battled to a 4-4 draw with the Pictou County Crushers in their final game after 3-2 losses to Acadia and South Shore and a 4-3 setback to Yarmouth.

Acadia won the event with a 4-1 triumph over South Shore in the final.
