Champions eliminates Sexton Auto in commercial league mini series

DEBERT – The Champions Bar and Grill Hitmen are off to the Labatt West Colchester Commercial Hockey League playoffs.

Champions clinched the final postseason spot with a 1-0 victory to complete a 2-0 sweep in their best-of-three mini series against Sexton Auto Service. Champions took Game 1 6-0.

Jeremy Dean potted the lone Game 2 goal with help from Trevor Hunt. Thomas Prescott posted the win in the crease.
