Elks look to regain division lead tonight

BROOKFIELD – The Brookfield Elks can take back top spot in the Fred Fox Division with a win tonight over the East Hants Penguins.

The Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League tilt is set for 7:30 p.m. at Don Henderson Memorial Sportsplex.

The Elks (18-10-1-2) enter the contest trailing the division-leading Sackville Blazers (19-11-2-0) by just one point. Sackville snatched first place from Brookfield with a 4-2 win over the Elks on Monday.

The game is the second in a run of three games in as many nights for Brookfield, which travels to Glace Bay Wednesday to visit the Miners (22-5-3-1) at 7:45 p.m.

Elks beat Pens 8 to 2 and take 1st place by 1pt. They have a talented bunch of local young men ,who re looking to win the division and than the league . GO ELKS GO
