Fleming with two in the eighth, beats Burgess 7-2.

Flemming adds a point in the seventh, extends lead to 5-2 over Burgess.

Flemming scores two in the fourth to lead Burgess 4-1.

Truro- Truro's Prter Burgess opened his second draw Thursday on a positive note.

 

After scoring his first win this morning Burgess took an early lead 1-0 lead over Paul Flemming. Updates to come here and on twitter at tdnmatt.

 

 

TRURO - The hometown side is in the win column at the Nova Scotia men's curling championship.

Truro's Peter Burgess scored an 8-3 win over Chad Stevens of Mayflower on Thursday morning to improve to 1-2.

Burgess led 3-1 before stealing two in the fifth.

Stevens closed the gap to 6-3 in the eighth with Burgess scoring two in the ninth.

Action continues at the Truro Curling Club at 1 p.m.
