Pinkney falls to Nix at senior women’s curling championship

DIGBY – Truro’s Colleen Pinkney dropped a 7-2 decision to Glooscap’s Jocelyn Nix on Friday at the Nova Scotia senior women’s curling championship.

Pinkney (2-2) played Mayflower’s Mary Mattatall Friday night.

Pinkney, who throws skip stones for mate Wendy Curie, second Shelley MacNutt and lead Susan Creelman, will play her final game of the double round-robin today against Mayflower’s Colleen Jones.
