Royal LePage Bearcats get two wins in midget house hockey

TRURO – The Truro Royal LePage Bearcats picked up a pair of wins recently in midget house hockey.

The Bearcats defeated the Brookfield Elks 5-2 after downing the rival Truro Crescent Cab Bearcats 3-1.

Kevin MacDonald powered the Bearcats with a pair of goals against Brookfield while Nick Graham, Brad White and Nick Gorman notched single tallies. MacDonald also chipped in a pair of assists and goaltenders Chris Burgess and Blake Meech shared the win.

Jamie MacMinn and Chris Miller scored for Brookfield.

Bryson Crowell, Brandon Millar, and Jonathon Murdock did the scoring against Crescent Cab and Meech was solid in the crease.

Coleman Porter responded for Crescent Cab with help from Matthew Gray.
