Hawks soar past Chill for women’s hockey win

TRURO – The Truro HubCraft Hawks routed the Halifax Chill 7-1 on the weekend in the B1 Division of the Nova Scotia Women’s Hockey League.

The victory lifts the Hawks (4-3-4) into sole possession of fourth spot in the seven-team division, just two points behind the Chill (6-3-2).

Stacey Webb and Rachel deVries each scored twice for the Hawks with single markers coming from Heather Fraser, Kaylee Hancock and Marion Esau. Marissa Roode provided three assists.
