DEBERT – Brian Johnson sniped a pair of goals to lead Sexton Auto Service to a 5-3 win over Champion’s Bar and Grill recently in the Labatt West Colchester Commercial Hockey League.
The result pulls Sexton Auto (5-23-0) to within two points of Champion’s (5-22-2) for eighth place in the nine-team league.
Johnson, who also chipped in an assist, leads Sexton Auto with 21 points (7G, 14A) in 25 games. Jason Bouma, Chris MacKinnon and Brian Dennis also scored for the winners. Chris O’Connell recorded the victory.
Jon Gould responded with a pair of goals for Champion’s while Jeremy Dean notched the other. Paul Canfield had two assists.
