DePalma drops 46 to lead Cheetahs over Cougars at hoops tourney

TRURO - Nick DePalma netted a game-high 46 points to lead the C.P. Allen Cheetahs to a 97-80 victory over the Cobequid Cougars Friday at the annual Snowball boys basketball tournament.

Taran Jordan led the Cougars with 17 points, while Austin Deuville added 13 for CEC.

The Cheetahs led 49-40 at halftime.

The Eagles were successful in their opener, earning a 101-80 win over C.P. Allen.

In other action, the Dartmouth Spartans defeated the Horton Griffins 90-83.
