PhysioOne Bearcats score win, suffer loss in atom AAA hockey

TRURO – The Truro PhysioOne Bearcats split their most recent pair of atom AAA hockey contests.

The Bearcats were topped 6-4 by the Sackville Flyers after nipping the East Hants Penguins 5-4.

Elliot McNutt notched a pair of goals against Sackville while Matthew Murphy and Nicholas Marshall also scored. Ashton Cutten was in the net.

Against East Hants, Brock McNeil scored twice with other goals coming from Marshall, Ben Fraser and Daniel MacKenzie. Halle Faulkner was the winning goaltender.

The Bearcats are back in action with a pair of road games against Acadia and Pictou County.
