Elks drop Mariners on the road

BROOKFIELD - The Brookfield Elks doubled the Eastern Shore Mariners on their home turf Saturday night.

Geoff Burke scored two goas in the win, with singles coming from Devon Muir, James Shapeligh, Connor Baker and Nick Carroll.

Spencer Scott picked up the win, stopping 35 shots in the 6-3 score.

The Elks are home on Tuesday to the Valley Maple Leafs. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Don Henderson Memorial Sportsplex.
