TRURO - The Truro Bearcats return to action tonight in the Maritime Hockey League.

The Bearcats host the Woodstock Slammers for a 7:30 p.m. start at the Colchester Legion Stadium.

Truro had a great first half and sits second in the Eastlink Division with 21-4-0-3 record, just two points behind the Yarmouth Mariners (before Friday's games).

Woodstock is tied for second in the Meek Division with Miramichi and Dieppe with a 16-11-2-0 mark.

The Bearcats, 5-3-0-2 in their past 10 games, haven't played since Dec. 16. They look for a strong second half, as they prepare to host the Fred Page Cup Eastern Canadian junior A championship in April at the new Rath Eastlink Community Centre.

Sunday Truro visits Summerside for a 2 p.m. start.
