Black Cats win twice in midget C hockey action

TRURO – The Truro Black Cats scored a pair of wins in their most recent set of midget C hockey contests.

The Cats defeated the West Colchester Cobras 4-1 after slipping past the Brookfield Elks 2-1.

Chris Cameron, Hanbin Go, Trevor Fredeen and Stephen Mallov all scored for Truro against West Colchester while Cameron recorded two assists and Nathan Smith was the winning goaltender.

Spencer Martell notched the lone West Colchester tally.

Go and Zack MacKinnon did the Truro scoring against Brookfield and Smith picked up the win. Nick Forbes responded for the Elks.
