Cougars hosting Phoenix in D-2 high school volleyball today

TRURO - The Cobequid Cougars are looking to stay sharp this weekend.

The Cougars Division 2 girls volleyball team will be hosting the Citadel Phoenix #2 today at 11 a.m. at the vocational school gymnasium in a tune-up match ahead of next weekend's provincial championship, which will be hosted by the Cougars.

Cobequid won the Northumberland region title last weekend at Northumberland high in Alma, while Citadel comes to town as the Capital region champion, knocking off Millwood.

It will be the first meeting for the season between the two sides.
