TRURO - The Truro Wynn Park Wildcats squeaked past the Halifax Explosion 3-2 recently in Nova Scotia Women's Hockey League play in Brookfield.

The win keeps the Wildcats (4-0) perfect start to the season intact in the league's A Division. They currently sit tied atop the standings with the Conrads Crushers at eight points apiece.

Jocelyn LeBlanc notched all three Truro goals with Jayne Knowles recording an assist on each. Lauren Stiles was the winning goaltender.
