Truro minor football teams post wins

TRURO - Truro minor football teams recorded victories in Nova Scotia Minor Football League action at the TAAC Grounds on Friday.

In bantam division play, the Truro Freightliners dumped the Halifax Argos 39-7.

The Freightliners improve to 2-4-2. The Argos drop to 1-5-2.

In pee wee division play, the Truro Blue Bombers outlasted the Halifax Argos 20-13.

The Blue Bombers now sit at 5-2-0 while the Argos slip to 2-3-0.
