TRURO - A late game field goal by the South Shore Seahawks kept the Truro Tide on a losing skid on the weekend in the atom division of the Nova Scotia Minor Football League.

The Tide dropped the contest, their fifth consecutive, 15-12, eliminating them from Tier 1 playoff contention.

The Tide weren't helped by key contributor Owen Sellers to injury.

The Tide are back in action Sunday when they host the Dartmouth Destroyers White at 5 p.m. at the TAAC Grounds.
