Bombers cruise to peewee football win over Seahawks

TRURO - The Truro Blue Bombers soared to a 48-6 victory over the South Shore Seahawks on the weekend in the Nova Scotia Minor Football League's peewee division.

The win improves the Blue Bombers to 4-2 as they prepare to host the Halifax Argos in their final home date of the season Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the TAAC Grounds.

The win was the second in a row for the Blue Bombers, who got touchdowns from Reilly Carmichael, Mackie Hart, Ryan Power and Jordan Waller.

Quarterback Michael Adams made a pair of touchdown passes.
