Mullen snipes three as atom AAA Cats win season opener

TRURO - Owen Mullen sniped a hat trick to lead the Physio One Bearcats to a 6-4 triumph over the Antigonish Bulldogs in their atom AAA hockey opener.

Ben Fraser, Elliott McNutt and Matthew Murphy rounded out the scoring for the Bearcats.

Merle Putnam added three assists, Colin Goodwin had two and Fraser, Elliott, Murphy, Tyson Ingraham and Jacob Melanson each contributed single helpers.
