TRURO - The Truro Bearcats suffered a pair of setbacks on the weekend in the Nova Scotia Major BantamHockey League.

The Bearcats were dumped 8-1 by the Newbridge Senators Sunday after falling 4-1 to the Mobil1 Barons Saturday.

Jevan McNutt notched the lone Truro tally Sunday with help from Ben Higgins and Brandon Archibald made 19 saves.

Brody MacPhee did the scoring for Truro Saturday. Gerald Blackmore and Joseph rector collected assists and Jack Lynds kicked out 23 shots.
