AAA Bearcats pick up two wins

TRURO - The Truro Bearcats captured both games in a weekend double header against Kenn Valley in minor midget AAA hockey this weekend.

The Bearcats saw a 4-3 win over the New Brunswick team Friday night with goals coming from Matt Mingo, Greg Harris, Logan MacDonald and Alex McNutt.

Saturday morning's game saw Matt MacCallum with a shutout win in nets with a 5-0 game.

Sander Manley, Connor Lynds, Jaegar Dean, McNutt and Nate Leger scored for the home team.

The AAA Bearcats are on the road to New Brunswick this coming weekend, facing Saint John Saturday night and Kenn Valley on Sunday afternoon.
