Minor football teams head to South Shore

TRURO - Both the Truro Blue Bombers and Truro Tide and Truro Blue Bombers will see action when Nova Scotia Minor Football League play resumes Saturday in Bridgewater.

The Blue Bombers won a big game against Timberlea last weekend, which vaulted them into third place in the peewee standings.

They take on the 0-5 South Shore Seahawks at 2 p.m.

The Seahawks offence has yet to score a major this season while their defense has given up more than 200 points,

The Tide, meanwhile, lost for the fourth straight game last weekend to sit eighth in the atom division.

They'll meet the 2-2 Seahawks at noon.
