WINNIPEG - Suburban FC couldn't hold off the North London Galaxy at the senior women's soccer championship, dropping the game, 2-1.

Suburban FC, which includes local players Shanice Maxwell, Emily Hunter, Danielle Lauther and Paula Serracin, played to a scoreless draw with Quebec on Thursday and settled for a 1-1 tie against Newfoundland on Wednesday.

Suburban wraps up preliminary play on Sunday against Manitoba.
