TRURO - Justin Palardy made the only field goal he attempted as his Winnipeg Blue Bombers dropped a 29-10 decision to the Toronto Argonauts Saturday in the Canadian Football League.

The loss drops the Bombers to 3-10 for last in the Eastern Conference while second-place Toronto improves to 7-6.

Palardy, a 24-year-old Murray Siding native, struck from 20 yards out midway through the second quarter and added an extra-point conversion five minutes later following a Terrance Edwards touchdown.

Palardy is tied with the B.C. Lions' Paul McCallum for the league lead with 30 field goals this season in 35 attempts, giving him a third-best 85.7 per cent success rate.
