TRURO - The Truro Tide were nipped 12-6 by the Bedford Saints in their recent Nova Scotia Atom Football League tilt at the TAAC Grounds.

The Saints scored with less than 1:30 on the clock to take the match, which drops the Tide to 1-2.

Matthew Coulter made an interception to set up a 35-yard touchdown run by Owen Sellers to give the Tide a 6-0 lead at half time.

Muddy conditions made the contest a defensive battle and the Tide were able to force several turnovers to keep the saints in check.

The Tide are back inaction Saturday to host the Dartmouth Destroyers Black at 10 a.m. at the TAAC Grounds.
