Freightliners still seeking first win

The Truro Freightliner team suffered a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Bedford Saints.

Truro held the high powered Bedford Saint offense to 8 points through 2 1/2 quarters, but penalties and turnovers late in the game put Bedford in great field position and allowed them to tack on 32 points in just over 20 minutes. The weather couldn't dampen the spirits of the Bantam team, who were still fighting hard right up to the end of the game.

Cory Knockwood carried the defense, and made plays from all areas of the field.  Ethhan Devough and Josh Macmillan were praised for their offensive input by coach Jake Borden.
