Wet conditions push final qualifier for trotters to Friday

TRURO - The top qualifiers for the Atlantic Breeders Crown in the two and three-year-old trotter divisions will have to wait until Friday to be determined.

Poor weather at Inverness Raceway Wednesday caused the cancellation of the 11-dash card, which was the final meet of the season for both divisions ahead of the Atlantic Breeders Crown Oct. 6 and 7 at Charlottetown Driving Park.

The card is set for Friday at 4:30 p.m. The top eight horses in each division qualify for the final. Both trotter divisions currently feature a tie atop the points standings.
