Cougars football team opens training camp today

TRURO - The Cobequid Cougars open their quest for provincial high school football supremacy today.

The team kicks off training camp at the newly constructed James Macpherson Stadium at 6 p.m. with conditioning drills and testing running until 8 p.m.

Camp continues until Friday and resumes Monday at the same times.

Any interested students enrolled at CEC this school year are welcome to attend. There is no cost to take part.

The Cougars take on the C.P. Allen Cheetahs Sept. 7 in Burnside in a preseason exhibition matchup.
