Kinsmen cool off Firemen in mosquito baseball

BIBLE HILL - The Bible Hill Kinsmen downed the Bible Hill Firemen 9-5 recently in the Bible Hill/Truro Mosquito Baseball League.

Becca MacIssac, Jenna Betts, Brooklyn Jordan and Jaeden MacNeil all provided hits for the winners.

Evan McCabe blasted a home run for the Firemen while Connor Angers doubled three times. Thomas Vickers tripled and doubled and Adam MacKinnon doubled.

In other mosquito action Pro Cresting topped Shoppers Drug Mart 11-4.

MacKenzie Matheson and Anthony MacNeil each ripped two singles while Kurtis Crawford and Luke Creelman both doubled. Other hits came from Nick Comeau and Tyler Maybe.

Darcy Pratt paced the Shoppers offence with a triple and double while Ben Gibbon doubled and Will and Emma Somers, Max Ashton and Mitchell Harrison all singled.
