TRURO – There will be no world blind golf title for Brian MacLeod this year.
The 53-year-old Salmon River resident withdrew from the tournament with back spasms after just nine holes of Monday’s opening round at Truro Golf Club.
The final round of the 36-hole event continues Tuesday.
MacLeod had himself in contention and was on the ninth hole when he tweaked his back as his club dug too far into the ground on a shot.
