BIBLE HILL - The Nova Scotia Keltics are off to a hot start in the under-20 women's division at the Eastern Canadian rugby championships.
The Keltics posted a pair of lopsided victories on Friday and will look to finish preliminary play with a perfect record today when they meet Prince Edward Island at 1 p.m.
Nova Scotia opened the tournament with a 29-0 win over New Brunswick and later dismantled Newfoundland 46-0.
Emma Taylor scored three tries and added two conversions to lead the Nova Scotia victory over New Brunswick, while Hannah Wallace and Lisa McCarthy each added one try.
Against Newfoundland, McCarthy scored two tries, while Colchester County players Payson Saunders, Ali Munroe and Mashal Fida added one each, as did Emilie Chaisson, Nawal Al and Rochelle Butterfield. Taylor added three coverts.
Truro's Saren Labelle is also a member of the team.
Action continues today and tomorrow at the Farnham Mill Rugby Park.
