Lynds to attend under-17 Team Atlantic hockey camp

TRURO - Debert's Denver Lynds will attend a Team Atlantic under-17 boys hockey camp, beginning next week in Antigonish.

Lynds, a Truro junior A Bearcats draft pick, is among 44 players trying out for the team, which will compete at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Victoriaville and Drummondville, Que., Dec. 28 to Jan. 4

Truro's Dave Ritcey is head coach of the Atlantic squad. Ritcey has also been invited by Hockey Canada to participate as guest coach at the national men's under-18 team evaluation camp in Toronto in August.

Other Bearcat picks attending Team Atlantic's camp July 15 to 19at the Millennium Centre include Shubenacadie's Alex Anthony and Kyle Tibbo of St. John's.
