Gingras leads by two at provincial men's golf championship

BADDECK - Moncton's Mathieu Gingras shot 2-over-par-74 yesterday and leads by two strokes heading into the final round today at the Nova Scotia men's amateur golf championship at Bell Bay.

Brightwood's Matt Gallupe is second (72-216), followed by Jody Swim of River Hills (75-217) and Ashburn's Sean Stuart (72-218).

Truro's Pat MacCormack (80-237) is tied for 26th, while Jeff Van Wart (83-247) is tied for 49th.

Truro's Chris Topshee, who plays out of Oakfield, shot 86 Friday for a 54-hole total 241 and a tie for 35th.
