Gators hosting P.E.I squad in women's fastpitch

NORTH RIVER - The North River Gators junior women's fastpitch softball team will host the P.E.I. Canada Games team on Sunday for doubleheader.

Game times are 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Leo Blair Memorial Ball Fields in North River.

The Gators, who will host the 14-team national junior women's tournament Aug. 1 to 5, will also hold a fundraising barbecue today at M&M Meats in Truro from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
