Gibson's three-point effort lifts Valley Variety to ball hockey win

SALMON RIVER - Sebastian Gibson scored one goal and assisted on two others as Valley Variety edged Gutter Done Thunder 5-4 in Truro and Area Ball Hockey League bantam-midget division action.

Tyler Woods added a goal and a helper, while Casey Murphy, Zack MacKinnon and Ryan Bakker added other markers. Ryan Smith and Tristan Clarke had other assists.

Blake Meech netted a hat trick for the Thunder and Alex McNutt had a goal and an assist.
