WBLI posts lowest score at hospital foundation golf tournament

TRURO - The WBLI foursome of Andrew Caldwell, Sean Mongey, Greg Mosher and Andrew Pye carded a tournament best 9-under-par 62 at the recent On Course Fore Health Golf Classic this week.

The event, held at Truro Golf Club, attracted more than 130 golfers and raised more than $65,000 for the Colchester Regional Hospital Foundation.

WBLI captured top honours in the second division, while other division winners were: Division 1 - MacLellan and Moffatt Financial Inc. (Mark Denholm, Gar Moffatt, Gary Spencer, Paul Westbury); Division 3 - Nova Scotia Power (Francis Burke, Brad Roy, Earl Dowe, Shannon Isenor).

Closest to the pin winners were Rick Thompson and Audrey Conroy, while longest drive awards went to Dave Wright and Sheryle Raymakers.
