Marmac fighters in Toronto this weekend for kickboxing, MMA action

TRURO - Two athletes from Marmac Athletics are in Ontario this weekend for fights at the Toronto PRO Supershow event.

Kyle White, 16, will compete in his third full-contact kickboxing match, while Cody Glode, also 16, will compete in his first amateur mixed martial arts fight.

White takes a 1-1 record into his match.

Marmac coach Micky Marshall will accompany the fighters to the event, which takes place at the Toronto Metro Convention Centre.

Next weekend, three Marmac fighters will compete at Shockwave 3 in St. John's, Nfld.

White, Jennifer McNutt, 27, and Melanie MacPherson, 17, will take part in the full-contact kickboxing event.
