TRURO - Brandon Malally played like an all-star all season.

On Monday, it was confirmed by the Atlantic Colleges Athletic Association as the Truro resident was named to the conference's second all-star basketball squad.

The six-foot-four, 235-pound Mount Allison Mounties forward scored 308 points and averaged 16.2 points per game this season, placing him 12th in the country in scoring. His 139 rebounds earned him 14th on the nationalist.

The third-year psychology major was named Mount Allison's athlete of the week three times for his efforts.

Malally is a past two-time MVP for the Cobequid Cougars and was the Mounties rookie of the year in 2009-10.
