Rams men earn third win of season in ACAA hoops

BIBLE HILL - The NSAC Rams earned a split in their pair of weekend ACAA men's basketball tilts.

The Rams (3-17) fell 101-80 Sunday to the Crandall Chargers (9-7) after earning their third win of the season Saturday in a 109-69 rout of the Saint John Seawolves (1-15).

The results keep the Rams seventh in the eight-team conference with six points.

The Rams women hold a 1-18 record and are last after falling 57-52 to Crandall and 86-37 to Saint John.

Both teams are back in action Wednesday when they host the Kings Blue Devils at 6 p.m. (women) and 8 p.m. (men).

After holding a five-point lead at half Saturday, the Rams took off in the fourth quarter hitting five three-point shots. Tyrone Berry led the charge with 30 points and 13 rebounds while Kyle Harvey had 26.

Jennifer Lutes, Hilary Hopper and Felicia Gero led the women with eight points apiece.

Stats were unavailable for Sunday's contests.
