Rams suffer losses to top-ranked Mystics in ACAA basketball

TRURO - The gap between the top and bottom of men's and women's ACAA basketball was shown recently in tilts between the NSAC Rams and Mount St. Vincent Mystics.

The Rams men were handed a 104-31 loss while the women were defeated 75-27.

The results drop the Rams men to 1-8 for seventh in the eight-team conference, while the women are in the same spot with an identical record. The Mystics, who lead both conferences, improve to 9-0 on the men's side while the women are 8-1.

Kyle Harvey led the Rams men with 12 points while Derek Profit drained six. Jay Kelly and Luke Reynolds paced the Mystics with 24 each.

On the women's side, Jennifer Lutes netted a team-high 17 points for the NSAC. Emma Reardon's 20 points topped the Mystics.
