BIBLE HILL - The NSAC Rams picked up their first victory of the ACAA women's basketball season Sunday, while the men are still searching for their first win.

The Rams women downed the Crandall Chargers 76-69 after falling 91-22 to the St. Thomas Tommies Saturday.

The men were dropped 73-44 by Crandall and fell 94-39 to St. Thomas.

The results lift the ladies Rams out of the basement of the eight-team conference to seventh at 1-4, while the 0-5 men sit last in their eight-team circuit.

Felicia Gero led the ladies rams Sunday with 21 points while Jennifer Lutes had 16. Nicole Cox and Kristyna Wolffova each added 11 points.

Hillary Hopper led the NSAC Saturday with 13 points while Gero netted eight.

Jordan Cronwell and Myles MacNaughton each scored nine points for the Rams men on Saturday. Sunday's stats were unavailable at press time.

The Rams are back in action Saturday when they host the Saint John Seawolves.
