TRURO – There is no charge to watch the Truro Bearcats battle the Amherst Ramblers in a Maritime Junior Hockey League preseason tilt tonight at Colchester Legion Stadium.

Game time is 7:30 p.m.

The Bearcats are looking to sweep the Ramblers after blanking the Bordertown team 5-0 in Amherst Monday. Fraser White, Jamie MacIntyre, Kaleb Lazeric, Sam Caldwell and Shawn Wright all scored for Truro. Brad macKenzie added a pair of assists.

Caldwell added an assist to be named the game’s first star.

Kirk Rafuse stopped all 12 shots he faced and was relieved by Spencer Scott half way through the game. The Truro native went on to kick out all 18 shots that came his way.

Julien Daigle made 20 saves and was tagged with the loss and was replaced at the halfway point by Richard Tingley, who made 18 stops on 20 shots.
