Chris Clarke and Carson Way were getting drives in recently in preparation for the upcoming Re/Max World Long Drive Championship qualifying event Sept. 9 at the Marshland Driving Range. Two winners from the Truro event will advance to the world championship in Mesquite, NV from Oct. 27 to Nov. 5. The Truro driving range will host the final qualifying event in Canada. "This is as big as it gets for a driving range," said Clarke, who has owned the Marshland Driving Range for three years. Way, a Dartmouth native, has attended multiple world championships and is helping promote the event. Jason Malloy - Truro Daily News
